Job summary

Roers Companies seeks a Construction Quality & Safety Manager in Plymouth, MN to lead safety and quality programs across projects. You will implement, audit, and maintain standards, train field teams, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic multifamily development environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors in a related field with 5+ years in Quality & Safety for commercial/multi-family construction, OSHA 30, AED/CPR, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

  • Local travel up to 75% out of the office.

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam

Responsibilities

  • Perform jobsite inspections throughout assigned region and distribute findings to each jobsite.
  • Manage safety orientations and audit orientation logs for compliance.
  • Maintain jobsite/office signage and PPE supplies.
  • Perform weekly Jobsite Audits with Project Teams and distribute results.
  • Lead and provide training to field operations staff monthly.
  • Compile quality and safety reports for corporate and distribute to jobsites.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and document minutes.
  • Lead safety training of field and office staff and distribute materials.
  • Update Safety Program and site rules annually with regional plans.
  • Create new jobsite safety books and audit regularly.
  • Maintain regional MSDS updates.
  • Maintain high risk trade partner safety programs and records.
  • Perform CPR/First Aid training and OSHA 10-hour training.
  • Conduct new project startup meetings with trade partners.
  • Perform quality inspections on new properties and manage regional data.

Job Summary

As a Construction Quality & Safety Manager working for Roers General Contracting LLC you will ensure safety and quality programs are implemented, audited, maintained, and exceed Roers General Contracting LLC high safety and quality expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform jobsite inspections throughout assigned region, organize and distribute to each jobsite.
  • Manage effective completion of all job site safety orientations (via project teams) and audit orientation logs for compliance.
  • Maintain jobsite/office signage and safety supplies (PPE)
  • Perform weekly Jobsite Audits along with Project Teams. Organize, record, and distribute to each jobsite.
  • Lead and provide training to field operations staff monthly. Organize, record, and distribute to each jobsite.
  • Compile quality and safety reports monthly for corporate and distribute them to each jobsite.
  • Lead safety committee meetings. Document minutes and distribute them to each jobsite.
  • Lead safety training of field and office staff. Document and distribute.
  • Compile yearly updates of the Safety Program and site rules. Included in these updates are jobsite constraints, jobsite continuous improvement plan and regional continuous improvement plan.
  • Create new jobsite specific safety books and audit regularly.
  • Yearly update and maintain regional MSDS.
  • Maintain “high risk” trade partner safety programs and competency records.
  • Perform trade partner safety evaluations and coordinate with preconstruction and project management on unsafe trade partners for evaluation of future work.
  • Perform or organize annual/biannual CPR/First Aid training.
  • Perform or organize new hire OSHA 10-hour training and safety orientation.
  • Perform new project startup meetings with trade partners.
  • Perform quality inspections on new properties, compile reports, and manage data base for the region.
  • Work with trade partners regarding trends in deficiencies and trade issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architectural or civil engineering, or other relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Quality & Safety for commercial and/or multi-family construction.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • AED, CPR, First Aid Certification required.
Compensation and Benefits for Quality & Safety Manager:

Pay Range: $93,100 - $122,500

Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role
