Job summary

DAVIS is redefining how we experience construction by embedding quality into every project. The Assistant Quality Manager will partner with Operations teams and collaborate with others to execute quality management programs across assigned projects.

You will support implementation of QA/QC processes, track open items, assist with kickoff meetings, and help ensure trade partners meet quality standards. Occasional site visits and participation in project meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years' experience in construction operations or quality management.
• Onsite operations experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow departmental standards and accept direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing quality management programs on projects.
• Track open items for follow-up.
• Support project kick-offs to identify risk and assign quality tasks.
• Identify and review alternative quality control methods with the manager.
• Participate in project meetings to support quality content.
• Assist with RFI process and proper documentation.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation across projects.
• Investigate quality issues to determine root causes.
• Visit project sites frequently to oversee progress and address issues.
