Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will keep the inspection and test plan current, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report.

You will open and track nonconformances until close, ensure technician certifications, and keep submittal and material certification files audit-ready.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and convert to a test schedule.
• Confidently assert when a lift or test fails to a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close NCRs with superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
