Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, witness field and lab work, and produce the daily QC report.

You will also open and track nonconformance reports, ensure certifications are current, and keep audit-ready files for submittals, mix designs, and material certifications. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• Eligible certifications: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C (CQM-C sponsorship available).
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and capable of reporting to a superintendent about NCRs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and testing frequency log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests.
• Open, track, and close NCRs with the superintendent and engineer.
• Prepare and audit submittal, mix design, and material certification files.
