Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and prepare daily QC reports.

You will open and track NCRs, keep audit-ready submittals and certifications, and coordinate with the superintendent and engineer of record. This role is a stepping stone to Quality Manager II with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable telling a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ITP and testing frequency log against the specs; schedule and witness tests.
• Verify certifications of technicians; write daily QC reports and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close NCRs with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
