Massman Construction Co. is seeking a Construction Quality Manager to lead project QA/QC efforts, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards.

You will partner with project leadership, clients, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes and maintain audit-ready documentation. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on bridges, marine, or port infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with infrastructure projects (bridges, marine, ports) preferred.
• Strong QA/QC standards, inspection/testing processes, and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence quality outcomes in the field.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project QA/QC plans in alignment with contract requirements and company standards.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
• Facilitate quality meetings and maintain accountability for quality performance across the project team.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and work plans for quality alignment.
• Perform inspections, audits, and surveillance of work in progress to verify compliance.
• Oversee testing, documentation, and material tracking for quality records.
• Supervise and implement corrective measures in cases of noncompliance.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers to integrate quality into planning and execution.
• Support subcontractor and supplier quality management including onboarding and audits.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality processes and project outcomes.
• Promote best practices and lessons learned across projects.
• Maintain audit-ready quality documentation, including daily reports and testing logs.
