Role & Responsibilities
The Q&A/QC Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects adhere to quality standards, regulations, and specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quality assurance plans, overseeing inspections and testing, managing documentation, and collaborating with various teams to address quality issues.
- Monitoring all quality-related activities on the project.
- Performing internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management.
- Verifying that contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
- Monitoring the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommending improvements when necessary.
- Coordinating all QA/QC activities with the site QA/QC procurement manager.
- Managing all quality-related correspondence with customer representatives.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Creating and maintaining quality control documentation, including reports and non-conformance reports.
- Overseeing inspections and testing to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction processes.
- Managing non-conformance reports by identifying, documenting, and addressing deviations from quality standards.
- Conducting audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Skills: Quality Assurance & Control, Quality Check, Quality Audit, Quality Management.
Certification: Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9001-2015.
Qualifications: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15-25 years of experience in the construction industry.
Industry Experience: Data center, airport, or industrial construction projects.
