Job summary

ACCIONA, a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, seeks a Deputy Construction Quality Manager for the SR400 Express Lanes Project in Georgia. You will oversee the project quality program, inspections, testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance with contract requirements, coordinating with subcontractors and utilities.

You will help manage QC resources, conduct constructability reviews, approve materials, and maintain the Quality Management System to support on-time

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation construction.
• Experience in QA/QC, construction engineering, inspection, field engineering, or superintendent roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspections, and testing.
• Experience on major highway, roadway, bridge, or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Georgia's construction market preferred.

• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority when quality requirements are not met.

The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a $4.6 billion transportation project delivered by SR400 Constructors, a joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. The project will add two 16-mile express lanes along SR400 in Georgia, improving mobility on one of the state's busiest corridors. Construction is expected to begin in late 2025, with completion targeted for 2031.

The Deputy Construction Quality Manager supports the implementation of the project's quality program, overseeing inspections, testing, reporting, and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements. The role works closely with subcontractors, utilities, and project stakeholders to manage quality issues, coordinate QC resources, review construction activities, and track corrective actions. This position also supports material approvals, constructability reviews, and quality audits, helping ensure the successful delivery of the project.
