Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company seeks an experienced Quality Manager to support multiple commercial projects in a fast-paced, team-driven setting. You will work with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to implement QMPs and ensure quality from planning through construction.

Ideal candidates have 7–15 years in construction, a relevant BS, and proficiency with QA processes, MS Office 365, and project software.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• QMS/RMS experience preferred.
• Proficient in construction means, methods, sequencing and field ops.
• Able to develop project-specific written quality plans and integrate with tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and quality requirements.
• Review documents for constructability and accuracy.
• Lead inspection planning and manage conformances/non-conformances.
• Interface with architects, engineers and owners to ensure quality expectations.
