Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project, from the ITP to NCRs, and to supervise field inspectors and technicians on site in Hawaii. You will schedule and witness tests, maintain documentation, and ensure certification validity for the crew.

In this role you will review look-ahead planning, coordinate with the superintendent and engineer of record, and drive the quality program toward successful tight schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC on a project
• Ability to read specs and drawings and convert to a test schedule
• Comfort communicating with superintendents about pass/fail and NCRs

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ITP and testing frequency log against specs; schedule and witness tests
• Verify certifications of technicians and write daily QC reports
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with superintendent and engineer of record
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready
• Look-ahead planning of pours, lifts, and structural work for the next ten days
