Job summary

Pepper Construction is seeking qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to experience life in the Quality department with a commercial general contractor in Indianapolis.

You will work with Quality team members and project teams to learn and be a resource in the areas of project delivery, constructability, building technology, workflow and sequencing, and proper installation techniques.

Qualifications

• Current college student entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a similar discipline during the 2026/2027 school year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Learn and be a resource in project delivery, constructability, building technology, workflow and sequencing, and proper installation techniques.
• Participate in jobsite quality walks, the constructability review process, mock-ups, writing reports and helping to resolve quality building issues.
• Be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety; gain hands-on experience with a reputable general contractor in the Indianapolis Area.
