Job summary

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to experience life with a commercial general contractor. You will be paired with a Project Manager and/or Superintendent on one of our construction teams.

You will gain hands-on experience with submittals, take-offs, possibly preparing budgets and attending job site/owner meetings. Training sessions, site tours and safety are included in the program in the Indianapolis

Qualifications

• Current college student entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Construction Management or a similar discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology.
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments.
• Ability and desire to work on an active construction site in central Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Project Manager and/or Superintendent on one of our construction teams.
• Assist with submittals, take-offs, and potentially preparing budgets.
• Attend job site and owner meetings.
• Participate in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety activities.
