Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is actively seeking seasoned Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCMs) to join our Field Operations in the Norfolk, VA area with a primary focus on Department of Defense projects. On-site presence at active military installations is required, and second-shift work may be needed.

Responsibilities include developing and enforcing project-specific QC plans, maintaining documentation, and supporting strong client relationships while upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or a related discipline preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in roles such as Project Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on similar projects
• Minimum of 3 years serving specifically as a Quality Control Manager
• Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1 safety standards, including hazard recognition, regulatory compliance, and sustainability practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general internet use
• Familiarity with platforms such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS is advantageous
• Experience in maritime construction is a plus

We are seeking seasoned Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCMs) to become part of our expanding Field Operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and meet the highest quality standards for our clients, with a primary focus on Department of Defense work.

Current assignments are located in the Norfolk, Virginia area and require a consistent on-site presence at an active military installation. This position may require second-shift work. While candidates based locally are preferred, relocation assistance may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the development, coordination, and execution of project-specific quality control plans. Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $115,000-$140,000 annually
