Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager for an on-site role in Norfolk, VA. The position requires coordinating and implementing project-specific quality control programs on federal construction projects, with a swing shift from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5–10 years of PM/CM experience, and specific QC/USACE credentials. Candidates must be prepared for on-site work and potential relocation or travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science, or an equivalent combination of education and field experience.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of continuous QC Manager experience.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate (or equivalent).
• Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications (training available if needed).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and standard internet tools.

• Complete administrative documentation accurately and on time.

Overview

Quality Control Managers plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs on federal construction projects. This is a fully on-site position. Local candidates are preferred; relocation or extended on-site travel may be required.
