Job summary

Webcor is seeking a Quality Manager to implement the Quality Control Plan on the Reno site and manage an effective project QC system. You will supervise inspections, tests, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure conformance with contract documents and commissioning requirements.

This role demands extensive construction QC experience, leadership to mentor staff, and strong knowledge of codes and standards. Base pay reflects market for this level and project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Eight years’ construction experience including public works and federal projects.
• Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and manages Contractor Quality Control System (CQC).
• Reviews drawings, specifications, codes and procurement documents for latest revisions.
• Schedules and performs contractor three-phase inspections for each feature of work.
• Coordinates and supervises tests by employees and subcontractors to verify controls.
• Inspects materials and equipment for specification and MTR compliance.
• Maintains reports, files, and documentation for QC activities and punch process.
• Works with Safety Manager to ensure compliance and coordinates with Owner’s quality rep.
