Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Construction Materials Testing or Construction Quality Assurance experience.
• Must evaluate test results and identify soils types.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying weather; some travel (70%).

Responsibilities

• Provide CQA services on CCR and Landfill projects including clay and geosynthetic liner inspections.
• Monitor, observe, and sample materials used in construction work.
• May assist with or conduct Construction Materials Testing services.
• Represent the company at professional and client meetings.
• Prepare daily reports and data sheets; operate with supervision.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

NICET Level II Soils certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

OSHA 40 HAZWOPER training

GCI-ICP certification course within 6 months
