Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Quality Specialist (Core) to join our team. You will participate in project quality plans, document QA processes, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure material quality and compliance with drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of construction experience and a degree in architecture or construction management, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. The role may involve non-traditional hours and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0–2 years construction experience and/or summer internship/co-op preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Participates in project quality plans and status reports.
• Ensures documentation of QA processes, test results and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with suppliers to maintain material quality standards.
• Performs site observations to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Attends pre-planning and progress meetings.
