Job summary
Fortune-Johnson is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the QA team. This role focuses on field-based quality, inspections, and documentation to protect our brand and ensure adherence to standards across projects.
The coordinator will work with Superintendents and project teams, spending significant time on active construction sites, learning processes, and QA procedures while traveling to projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
- 0–2 years in construction or related internship.
- Strong attention to detail to document and follow up on quality concerns.
- Excellent communication and teamwork with field staff.
- Willingness to travel to projects; field-intensive role.
- Experience with Procore is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support QA program implementation on assigned projects.
- Conduct regular jobsite QA inspections with teams.
- Attend quality milestones and inspections.
- Inspect activities for compliance with standards.
- Document QA observations and track items in project records.
- Assist with QA handoff sheets and docs.
- Review third-party inspection and testing reports.
- Collaborate with Superintendents to resolve quality issues.
- Travel to Fortune-Johnson projects as needed.
