Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Purchasing Manager to develop bid packages and manage subcontractor relations for residential construction projects. You will identify qualified subcontractors, evaluate bids, and ensure competitive pricing aligned with budgets.

Responsibilities include estimating, contract negotiation, and coordinating with field personnel and architects/engineers on plan changes, while maintaining cost controls and timely procurement across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in construction management.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Construction Management; Residential Construction a plus.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract administration

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bids received, negotiate terms and pricing, and award contracts.
• Maintain subcontractor relations and monitor performance.
• Create job cost estimates for multiple trades across plans.
• Stay informed on construction materials and methods.
• Resolve billing and budgeting issues with subcontractors.
• Collect insurance and license information from subcontractors
