Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College seeks a construction services supervisor to coordinate new construction, remodeling, and renovation projects in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. You will oversee staff, supervise project assignments and act as department head in the Director's absence.

The role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and MATC personnel, ensuring compliance with codes and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Architecture or Engineering; three years of experience in construction renovation and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinate preparation of contract drawings, specs and estimates for construction, alteration and repair.
Inspect construction work for deviations and quality; recommend corrective actions.
Liaise between contractors, architects, and MATC personnel on projects.
Supervise staff and coordinate daily division activities.
Collaborate with architects/engineers on interior space design and planning phases.
Attend department meetings and coordinate infrastructure upgrades.
