Fishbeck has an immediate full-time opening for a Construction Project Superintendent to join our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. The Construction Project Superintendent will support all aspects of assigned construction projects to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards.
This position works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate and oversee onsite construction activities, maintain project schedules, and support communication between subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders. The role also includes documenting project progress, assisting with site coordination, and helping maintain safe and efficient project operations. This position provides the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of construction projects while working in a collaborative project team environment.
This role requires working in an outdoor construction environment and traveling to project sites as needed. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods on project sites, including areas with uneven terrain. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle to reach project locations. Must be able to read printed materials and computer screens and communicate effectively through hearing and speech. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
