Four Peaks Building Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities for commercial construction projects in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of commercial construction experience, a BS degree or equivalent, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must have good documentation skills and be proactive in resolving issues quickly.
• Intermediate computer skills with MS Office, MS Project and Procore (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections align with the project schedule.
• Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Budget, forecast, and manage field personnel, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare work plans and temporary facilities for the project.
• Review plans and manage documentation per project standards.
• Develop and maintain master schedule and 3-week look ahead.
• Generate RFIs and review submittals for compliance.
• Lead on-site meetings with subcontractors and trades.
• Manage subcontractors and field crews on-site while coordinating with owners and suppliers.
• Oversee site work logistics and relationships with project team.

Four Peaks Building Group, LLC. is looking for an experienced Project Superintendent for commercial construction contracts. The ideal candidate will be motivated and team orientated to help support a project team on a wide variety of construction projects. The Project Superintendent will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well work with project teams including Project Managers and Field Personnel and other office personnel, to deliver successful projects to owners, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Compensation: Salaried, market based + candidate experience

Schedule: 8 hour regular shift but longer hours may be required depending on various circumstances

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
• Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.
• Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.
• Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.
• Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data and execute project based upon said documentation.
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
• Manage the overall project and 3 week look ahead schedules, including creating and maintaining the master schedule.
• Generate RFI's (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies.
• Review submittals for compliance with project manual and plans, manufacturer's recommendations and code, or other standards applicable to the system.
• Conduct preconstruction planning.
• Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors and work crews for all work performed on-site
• Work with the project team to maintain relationships with owners, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage site work and logistics of construction site.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience within the field of commercial construction.
• B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must have good documentation skills and be proactive in resolving issues quickly
• Intermediate computer skills with experience in MS Office, MS Project and Procore (a plus).
