Job summary

CEC is seeking a Project Scheduler 2 to develop and manage schedules for our projects in the Santa Teresa area. You will support project managers with coordinating tasks, monitor timelines, and help create templates for field use.

Ideal candidates have strong Primavera P6 experience on large construction programs, solid Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. This role requires office-based work in New Mexico with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Five years of P6 experience on medium to large-sized construction projects.
• Large capital construction projects experience.
• Schedule management experience in development of project schedules and integrating multiple schedules.
• Proficient use of MS Excel and/or databases systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports the project team in managing schedules for successful project delivery.
• Work with schedulers from general contractors and design-build teams to monitor schedule risk.
• Maintain the milestone program and ensure milestones are defined and agreed upon.
• Determine reasonable schedule logic and constraints with task owners/teams.
• Evaluate critical path activity sequences and coordinate review sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule reports/indicators for alignment with the project execution plan.
• Identify major milestones, critical approvals, and long-lead items.
• Assess progress via site inspections and validate reporting against the schedule.
• Identify schedule changes, gaps, and proactively resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Monitor and report schedule deliverables and present status to stakeholders.
