Jacobs in San Francisco seeks a Project Safety Officer to support tunneling and conveyance projects. You will establish working relationships and provide visible Health & Safety support, applying leadership to interpret, review and govern project HSE requirements.
You will assist the Project Management team by reviewing HSE plans and hazard assessments, coordinating with safety officers to promote a safe environment across sites throughout construction.

As a Project Safety Officer you’ll join our collaborative team working on assignments within our client’s tunneling and conveyance projects in San Francisco, California. We will rely on you to establish working relationships and provide visible Health & Safety support. You will utilize your leadership skills by providing interpretation, technical review and support, regulatory guidance and governance oversight to ensure alignment and consistent implementation of the project HSE requirements. You’ll assist the Project Management team to review and provide comments on the project and site office Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plans and hazard assessments.

The base salary range for this position is $128,200.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
