Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, writing the project quality plan and setting surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers.

You will plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers, qualify vendors and inspection agencies, own nonconformance and corrective-action processes, and report quality metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
