Job summary

Lane Valente Industries in McKinney, TX is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from scope through closeout. You will read architectural and MEP docs, prepare scopes and RFPs, estimate costs, develop schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
• Construction Management or related degree or equivalent experience.
• Willing to travel.
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and MEP design documents.
• Prepare comprehensive scopes and RFPs.
• Estimate projects.
• Create comprehensive project schedules, manage, and maintain schedules.
• Execute subcontractor bidding, scopes of work, bid lists, unit cost bid comparisons.
• Review subcontract bids and issue contracts.
• Collaborate with Owner/Owner’s Representative on schedule, requisitioning and critical issues.
• Create and manage RFI’s, Change Orders, and correspondence.
• Prepare and follow project budgets and AIA payment documents.
• Coordinate with local building departments for permits and project close out.
• Manage construction scheduling, long-lead items, and critical paths.
• Manage and administrate all Change Orders.
• Schedule and attend progress visits; provide daily updates.
