Job summary

Kraus-Anderson Incorporated in Bismarck, ND is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate complex construction projects from proposal through completion. You will lead supers, coordinators and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of relevant experience, a four-year construction degree, and strong MS Office and ViewPoint proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent of education and/or experience.
• MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency; knowledge of project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposal, plans and specifications to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
• Establishes work plan, scheduling and staffing for each phase of project and arrangements for recruitment or assignment of personnel as needed.
• Reads and understands drawings and specifications.
• Establishes a growing network of business associates, subcontractors and related vendors.
• Confers with team leader to outline work plans, assign duties and scope of authority.
• Coordinates activities with project staff to ensure progress within budget and provide technical advice to resolve problems.
