Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site management for a West Des Moines project. The role reports to Senior Project Manager or Project Executive and focuses on coordinating teams, budgets, schedules, and contractual compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of construction leadership, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the project and direct the project team.
• Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, and mentoring.
• Manage budget and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to the project budget.
• Administer Turner's contract and subcontract agreements.
• Oversee QA/QC program and safety protocols on site.
• Prepare and deliver regular Operations Review Meetings.
