Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager II to join our National Mission Critical team. The role focuses on administration of projects, managing schedules, costs, contracts, and status reporting, under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Construction Engineering/Management degree with 6+ years in the Mission Critical sector and are willing to travel. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 plus potential incentives.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years' proven Mission Critical industry experience.
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in owner/client presentations and client engagements.

  • Under supervision, prepare and control budgets, schedules, bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; help prepare profit projections.

  • Conduct project close-out duties: final cost, punch list, final billing, and final fee collection.

Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Construction Project Manager II to join our National Mission Critical team!

This individual will be primarily responsible for administration of assigned projects, including specific phases of project management under supervision, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.

Some things you can expect to do:
  • Participate in owner/client sales presentations.
  • Participate in some design development, budget preparation, and project schedule.
  • Share job cost responsibility with supervising PM or Division Manager by keeping supervisor informed of efforts.
  • Under supervision prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; help prepare profit projections.
  • Help conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports.
  • Conduct project close-out duties, including final cost, punch list, final billing, and final collection of fees.
Job Requirements:
  • To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management and at least 6+ years of proven experience in the Mission Critical industry.
  • You must also be able and willing to travel for projects.
You will really stand out if you:
  • Process proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
  • Have an established thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes.
  • Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures process.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Procore, P6, and other management tools.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively, focus on customers, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Compensation:

The salary range is $120,000 - $145,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
