Job summary

AMH is seeking a Construction Project Manager I to support the lifecycle of multiple single-family home projects. You will schedule work, coordinate departments, contractors, materials, and equipment, and ensure projects proceed on time and per specifications.

You will conduct daily on-site inspections, monitor progress, document outcomes, and coordinate corrective actions while maintaining quality and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• OSHA 10‑Hour Certification preferred; to be completed within 60 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to analyze financial terms and perform basic financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-site construction progress with daily inspections.
• Review work status to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
• Document completion and inspections; ensure quality checks are performed.
• Coordinate corrective actions for defects and delays.
• Develop and monitor master construction schedules and vendor work timelines.
• Review plans and specifications for managed projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
