Job summary

Batska Consulting Group in New York is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead a small to mid-sized team, oversee design through construction, and ensure high-quality delivery on healthcare projects.

You will coordinate with clients and stakeholders, manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and procurement, and report progress while mitigating risks to keep projects on time, within scope, and aligned with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5–7 years of construction industry experience.
• Healthcare construction project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expert understanding of Construction Drawings and Documentation.
• Interpret construction plans, technical specifications, and submission requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope and determine optimal delivery methods.
• Provide oversight of prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements to ensure alignment with company interests and maintain positive client relationships.
• Manage the design process and coordinate between design and construction teams.
• Lead a small to mid-sized team, providing guidance and direction to ensure project success.
• Forecast costs for upcoming activities and projects, manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, and scopes through project management software.
• Develop bid packages and procure proposals in adherence to client policies.
• Act as the primary contact with clients throughout project duration, including periodic progress reporting.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycle.
• Facilitate critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project schedules, including feasible phasing plans to accommodate end-users' needs.
