Job summary

Qualifications

• Estimating or project management experience in highway construction.
• Familiar with asphalt, paving, materials, or chipseal specs.
• Willingness to travel long distances.

Responsibilities

• Review specs, drawings, and pre-bid meetings to prepare bid scope.
• Determine labor, equipment, material needs for bids.
• Submit bid proposals to project owners, managers and/or general contractors promptly.
• Provide pricing and design assistance to customers.
• Coordinate with senior management on objectives, procedures, schedules and performance requirements.
• Monitor subcontractors and supervise field crew members.
