Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to various job sites within the assigned district.

Responsibilities

• Project estimating and project management of civil projects with deep foundations, retention systems, ground improvement, and dewatering scope.
• Perform site visits to evaluate site conditions.
• Study drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare take-offs, cost estimates, bid proposals, and budgets.
• Negotiate construction contracts with support from legal team.
• Prepare project submittals including means and methods, design calculations, and materials.
• Manage field quality and control costs.
• Prepare and manage short and full project schedules.
• Assist in implementing required safety measures.
• Prepare project billings and close out paperwork.
• Attend company-wide training.
