Job summary

Malcolm Drilling is seeking a Project Manager to oversee civil projects, including deep foundations and dewatering, across multiple sites. The role requires site visits, cost estimation, and coordination with vendors and the internal team.

You will review drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports, manage budgets, schedules, and contracts, and ensure safety and quality across the district. Travel about 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil/geotechnical project experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Basic understanding of construction methods and practices is required.
• Ability to travel to various job sites within the district.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and manage civil projects involving deep foundations, retention systems, ground improvement, and dewatering.
• Perform site visits to assess conditions and verify drawings and specs.
• Review geotechnical reports and project documents.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare take-offs, budgets, and bid proposals; manage project means and methods.
