Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects across Southeast Michigan, guiding teams from preconstruction to closeout and delivering high-quality developments on schedule and within budget.

Requires 5+ years of PM experience on $5M+ projects, a Bachelor’s in CM, Engineering, or related field, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with scheduling, budgeting, and construction software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Support project closeout activities and client turnover.
