Job summary

SERVPRO Franchise seeks a Construction Manager to lead residential and commercial restoration projects from kickoff to closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee operations of all construction projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, insurance reps, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and profitability are monitored and controlled.
• Ensure compliance with plans, codes, and scope requirements.
• Maintain project documentation with photos, contracts, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and safety.
• Review scopes, estimates, and construction documents.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor scheduling.
• Monitor expenses and overall project profitability.
• Address challenges to minimize delays and maintain satisfaction.
• Conduct final walkthroughs and manage punch lists.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee operations of all construction projects and ensure customer and client satisfaction
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Ensure project schedules are in place and monitor completion schedules and budgets
• Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
• Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos, contracts, change orders, etc.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, workmanship, and safety.
• Review project scopes, estimates, and construction documents.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor scheduling.
• Monitor project expenses, job costs, and overall profitability.
• Address project challengesproactively to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Conduct final walkthroughs, manage punch lists, and ensure successful project closeout.
• Utilize project management & estimating software to track project progress, schedules, and financial performance.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Drivers License
• Associates Degree preferred
• Previous construction management experience preferred
• Experience with insurance restoration, or Xactimate is a plus, but not required
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills
• Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
• Effective written and oral communication

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
