Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes communication with homeowners, insurance representatives, and internal teams to deliver high-quality restoration and construction outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; valid driver's license.
• Associates Degree preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee operations of all construction projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Ensure project schedules are in place and monitor completion schedules and budgets.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, codes, and scope requirements.
• Document each project with photos, contracts, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and safety.
• Review project scopes, estimates, and construction documents.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor scheduling.
• Monitor project expenses, job costs, and profitability.
• Address challenges proactively to minimize delays and maintain satisfaction.
• Conduct final walkthroughs, manage punch lists, and close out projects.
• Utilize project management and estimating software to track progress and financials.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee operations of all construction projects and ensure customer and client satisfaction
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Ensure project schedules are in place and monitor completion schedules and budgets
• Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
• Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos, contracts, change orders, etc.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, workmanship, and safety.
• Review project scopes, estimates, and construction documents.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor scheduling.
• Monitor project expenses, job costs, and overall profitability.
• Address project challengesproactively to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Conduct final walkthroughs, manage punch lists, and ensure successful project closeout.
• Utilize project management & estimating software to track project progress, schedules, and financial performance.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Drivers License
• Associates Degree preferred
• Previous construction management experience preferred
• Experience with insurance restoration, or Xactimate is a plus, but not required
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills
• Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
• Effective written and oral communication

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
