Job summary

A leading staffing and recruiting firm is seeking a Solutions Executive in the Town of Florida, NY, to lead integrated solutions in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a commercial construction background, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. This full-time role will involve travel across the United States to manage large-scale projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Overview

The Solutions Executive leads the delivery of integrated solutions across multiple segments within the construction industry. The role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the business by leveraging industry expertise and insights to develop scalable, service-based solutions that drive operational efficiency and long-term organizational growth.

Essential functions
  • Project Planning, Execution & Delivery: Develop solutions, project plans, project schedules, budgets, work timetables, process improvements, and the management of overall project health.
  • Leadership management: Management of multiple teams and projects across North America and Canada. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Team coordination: Collaborate with clients, business development, delivery operations, and other internal stakeholders supporting the full life cycle of the business to include sales support, project execution, to project closeout.
  • Strategic business planning & growth management: Collaborate with leadership to shape growth strategies, investment plans, and key capabilities that drive business expansion within the construction industry, leveraging expertise and extensive knowledge.
  • Client management & communication: Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions within multiple opportunities and current projects.
  • Contract administration: Review and negotiate contracts with potential clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Development of statements of work, work orders, RFXs, change orders, and alike.
  • Pricing & budget management: Prepare cost estimates, pricing, track expenses, and ensure financial efficiency. Compliance & safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, safety regulations, legal requirements, and alike.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Problem-solving: Address delays, emergencies, and unforeseen issues effectively.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Supervisory or management duties

Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
  • Must have a Commercial/Industrial construction background (examples: EV plants, semi-conductors, and data centers).
  • Proven experience as a construction project manager with a leading general contractor, successfully delivering large-scale industrial and/or commercial projects including hands-on execution of self-performed scopes.
  • Strong experience in estimating, pricing (various methods), budget management, contracts, and scheduling. 5+ years of experience managing teams including training, development, mentorship and day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and technologies (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong knowledge in construction methods, materials, and regulations across multiple construction industries.
  • Proven capabilities in developing solutions to problems, defining project life cycles, managing deliverables/customer expectations and compliance to quality processes.
  • Proven written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to conduct meetings with high-level decision makers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with cross-functional teams and roles in virtual environments.
  • Ability to travel across the United States up to 50%.
