Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV seeks an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee buildings projects from conception through completion. You will manage timelines, budgets, and subcontractors, while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to read blueprints and manage resources to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in general construction leadership.
• Must be able to maintain valid driver's license.
• Scissor lifts / boom lifts training required.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversees building projects from conception to completion.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Must have 5 years’ experience in general construction leadership or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

• Must be able to maintain valid driver’s license and meet GSR driving requirements.
• Scissor Lifts / Boom Lifts training

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, frequently crouching, kneeling, and occasionally sitting, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs or less occasionally.
• Dependent on the shift the team member will be occasionally driving.
• The team member will occasionally have repetitive use of both feet, both hands and require frequent light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
