Job summary

A civil engineering company is seeking an experienced project manager to lead land development design projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities include managing design teams, client relationships, and project budgets while ensuring quality delivery. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, including proven skills in client management and contract negotiation. Job description

This role leads land development design projects from concept through completion. Responsible for managing design teams, subconsultants, budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring high quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead land development and site development projects
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare cost proposals
  • Negotiate contract language with clients
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Direct internal design teams and subconsultants
  • Maintain quality control throughout project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering staff
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines and performance standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • PE license or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Proven client management and contract negotiation experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
