Job summary

SUGARED + BRONZED is expanding its store footprint in the United States and seeks a Project Manager to drive new store constructions from inception to completion. You will partner with real estate, design, permitting, operations, and closeout teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliant builds.

The role emphasizes construction management, budgeting input, vendor coordination, and hands-on site visits with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Travel about 30% is required across store sites.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a construction management environment or related trade.
• Proficiency in G Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Gmail).
• Ability to travel approximately 30% to store sites for walkthroughs, punch lists, and turnovers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage projects on project management platform, internal server, and shared docs.
• Coordinate site investigations among landlords, real estate agents, and architect teams.
• Input data for buildout budgets with D+D team and general contractors.
• Create and distribute bidding documents to selected GCs.
• Manage landlord approvals and requirements for design, construction, and signage.
• Coordinate signage proposals, permits, and installation dates with signage vendors.
• Manage ordering, tracking, and delivery of all owner-supplied items (FF&E).
• Take inventory, track, and facilitate transfer of owner-supplied items.
• Ensure estimates, invoices, and final payments are submitted to accounting and paid to external partners.
• Conduct store punch list walkthroughs with GCs and complete the punch list.
• Set up in-store technology during punch list and turnover visits.

Position Overview

The Project Manager holds a pivotal role in facilitating the creation of new stores within the company. This position demands a combination of construction expertise and procurement duties to manage projects smoothly from inception to completion, collaborating closely with real estate, design, permitting, operations, and final closeout teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper setup and management of projects on S+B’s project management platform, internal server, and shared docs.
• Coordinate site investigations among landlords, real estate agents, and architect teams.
• Assist in data input for buildout budgets with the D+D team and general contractors.
• Create and distribute bidding documents to selected GCs.
• Manage landlord approvals and requirements for design, construction, and signage.
• Coordinate signage proposals, permits, and installation dates with signage vendors.
• Manage ordering, tracking, and delivery of all owner-supplied items (FF&E).
• Take inventory, track, and facilitate the transfer of owner-supplied items.
• Ensure estimates, invoices, and final payments are submitted to the S+B accounting team promptly and paid to external partners.
• Conduct store punch list walkthroughs with GCs, create the punch list, and see it through to completion.
• Set up in-store technology (cameras, access points, sound system, and digital lockbox) during punch list and turnover visits.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a construction management environment or related trade.
• Proficiency in G Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Gmail).
• Demonstrated interest in growth and internal development.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, understand, and communicate the S+B brand through physical stores.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time to store sites for walkthroughs, punch lists, and turnovers.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

85,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Corporate - Santa Monica Office)
85,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Corporate - Philadelphia Office)
