Job summary

Project Resource Collective in Nashville seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction efforts, oversee quality, schedule, safety, finances, and client relationships. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of eight years of construction management or related experience.
  • Proven ability to manage or support all major responsibilities associated with large, complex construction projects.
  • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project-management software, and relevant web-based applications.
  • Positive and professional attitude with strong customer-service skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall financial health of large projects, including sports facilities and hospitality-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections.
  • Allocate project estimates within the financial management system.
  • Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget-management decisions.
  • Provide financial information and billing documentation to Accounting to facilitate timely payment.
  • Prepare monthly owner billings.
  • Manage project subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier budgets and selection.
  • Manage billings, contracts, and contract buyouts.
  • Manage Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Assign responsibilities and support team members’ career development.
  • Approve timecards for on-site team members.
  • Provide training and mentorship.
  • Review employee performance and determine appropriate recognition or performance-management measures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the owner and on-site representatives.
  • Assist with reviewing owner agreements.
  • Resolve site concerns raised by the owner or the owner’s representative.
  • Maintain frequent communication and provide excellent service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities.
  • Manage project change orders.
  • Determine when change orders should be submitted to the owner or on-site representative.
  • Obtain approval from the customer and/or architect.
  • Provide design-phase support to project executives, estimators, and group leadership.
  • Maintain the project schedule and budget through completion.
  • Support business-development efforts through market research, networking, customer meetings, proposal support, and related activities.
  • Provide high-level oversight of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members.
  • Apply the appropriate level of planning and forethought to decision-making to support project success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Nashville office team.

The Senior Project Manager will lead one large project or multiple projects, overseeing quality, schedule, safety, financial performance, team development, and client relationships. The role may also expand into market leadership, business development, and design-phase support.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $145,000 to $215,500.

Base salary will be positioned within the range based on several factors, including the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, while also considering internal equity.
