WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Manages the full lifecycle of Town facility construction projects—from initial planning and design to final inspection
- Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and Town departments to ensure alignment and project success
- Leads project documentation, RFPs, RFQs, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance reviews
- Acts as the single point of contact for stakeholders and maintains progress reporting across departments
- Performs site inspections, verifies pay applications, and ensures quality execution and regulatory adherence
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in construction, project management, or municipal capital improvements
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, public procurement, and construction documentation
- Proficiency in tools like Procore, CAD, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to lead meetings, navigate change, and work cross-functionally
