Job description

At Nwestco LLC, we don't just work in the Petroleum and Car Wash Equipment industry—we lead it. For over 25 years, we've set the standard across the Northwest and Rockies, delivering innovation, reliability, and excellence to our customers.

We're on the hunt for a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee petroleum construction projects across our Montana and Wyoming region, from kickoff through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and customer communication while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.

In addition to managing active construction projects, this position will work closely with management and the sales team during the quoting, pre-bid, and pre‑construction phases of the process—helping to scope work, evaluate site requirements, and set projects up for successful execution before they break ground.

The ideal candidate has experience managing petroleum, fuel system, underground storage tank (UST), convenience store, or commercial construction projects in fast‑paced environments with multiple concurrent jobs.

The pay range is $78,000- $125,000 based on experience and qualifications. If you're safety‑focused, driven, and ready to grow with a company that values your experience, this is your moment.

Your Mission
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations, including OSHA, HAZWOPER, API, and EPA standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, performance, and quality control.
  • Pre‑Construction & Sales Support: Partner closely with management and the sales team throughout quoting, pre‑bid, and pre‑construction planning to ensure project scope, site conditions, and budgets are accurately assessed before work begins.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle, from pre‑construction planning to final turnover, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage all field operations, coordinating with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review and approve construction plans, drawings, submittals, and technical specifications.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress tracking tools.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
  • Lead project meetings, facilitate conflict resolution, and drive decision‑making to avoid delays.
  • Ensure all required inspections, testing, and documentation are completed and filed appropriately.
What You Bring To The Table
  • 5+ years of experience in petroleum fuel system installation, service, construction, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of petroleum fueling equipment and systems, including fuel dispensers, pumps, retail POS systems, monitoring equipment, UST/AST installations, leak detection, corrosion protection, and related safety standards.
  • Prior experience scheduling construction teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with construction estimating, project budgeting, quoting/bid preparation, and cost tracking.
  • Familiarity with pre‑lien requirements, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
  • Experience working within multi‑branch, multi‑location organizations preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or estimation software; experience with NetSuite and Fieldpoint is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Montana and Wyoming region as project needs require.
