• Ensure compliance with codes, specs, safety standards, and company policies.
• Identify risks, conflicts, budget variances, and construction issues and address them.

Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year - Indianapolis, IN

• Our client is a commercial and industrial construction firm seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN. This position oversees construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.
• The Construction Project Manager will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver commercial and industrial construction projects in accordance with project specifications, budgets, schedules, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and construction activities.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel throughout the construction process.
• Prepare and monitor construction schedules, project budgets, cost reports, change orders, and progress billings.
• Manage construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, project documentation, and contract administration.
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate activities with project engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project compliance with building codes, construction specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
• Identify and address project risks, scheduling conflicts, budget variances, and construction issues.
• Provide project oversight and technical guidance to project engineers, superintendents, and field staff.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or similar construction environments, including 2+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, construction contracts, and contract administration.
• Experience with construction project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Sage, Microsoft Project (MS Project), or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 85k - 120k/year range
