Millstone is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of complex construction projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate field teams, monitor scheduling, forecast costs, and manage budgets while reporting to the Project Executive.
You will collaborate with assistants and site staff, maintain detailed records, assess risks, negotiate terms, and ensure quality construction using sound methods and professional judgement.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the successful execution of construction activities required for a successful project completion. In this role, your tasks would include a range of duties, including scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, scope creation and management, site team coordination, problem solving, and detailed record keeping.
You will work in unison with Assistant Project Managers, as well as the site field team, to oversee and manage your assigned projects from start to finish while reporting directly to the Project Executive. You will be in frequent contact with your team and must be able to foster relationships within your team and across multiple individuals, execute sound reason and judgement in decision making, and conduct yourself with the utmost level of professionalism.
You will demonstrate your high level of both written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in organization and detail with accurate reporting. You will also utilize your ability to forecast and anticipate potential problems, while keeping reactive management to a minimum. You are detail oriented, and you carry a positive attitude into your daily tasks and meetings with your team members. When it comes to problem solving and finding creative solutions, you are relentless in your pursuit. Not only are you highly organized in managing your projects, but you also have a strong ability to anticipate future challenges and find solutions quickly. Experience with Construction Management software and previous projects working with wood frame construction is preferred.
