A well-respected Houston based General Contractor is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of ground-up and renovation construction projects across Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Municipal, Industrial, and Retail sectors.

About the Role:

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of construction projects—from preconstruction through close-out. You’ll work closely with superintendents, clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure each project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality construction
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting to maintain profitability
• Lead and participate in project meetings, including design coordination, preconstruction, progress updates, and close-out
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and all project documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Work closely with Superintendents to solve problems, mitigate risks, and maintain project momentum
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the company

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Experience managing ground-up and interior build-out projects across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Industrial, or Retail
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and budgeting
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
