Job summary

PrimeBridge Workforce LLC in Illinois seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy highway, airport, and civil infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy highway or airport construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong expertise in CPM scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and field coordination.
• Proven leadership and negotiation skills.
• Experience with cost forecasting and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy civil, highway, airport, and infrastructure construction projects.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasting, schedules, profitability, billing, and cash flow.
• Develop CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Oversee contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Identify project risks, schedule delays, and cost issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with owners, government agencies, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Negotiate change orders, schedule extensions, contract modifications, and claims.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, contractual, and profitability goals.

We are currently hiring on behalf of our clients for the following position:

Position: Construction Project Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy highway, airport, and civil infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong expertise in project financials, CPM scheduling, contract management, change orders, subcontractor coordination, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex heavy civil, highway, airport, and infrastructure construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, schedules, profitability, billing, and cash flow.
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.

• Hands-on experience with project cost forecasting, budgeting, CPM scheduling, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Viewpoint, HCSS HeavyBid, and HCSS HeavyJob.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, client management, and problem-solving skills.
