The role requires 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and contract compliance. The PM will lead task-order execution, coordinate with the GMHILL team, and serve as the primary on-site contact while ensuring scheduling, resource allocation, and contract adherence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project roles (PM, Superintendent, SSHO, or QC Manager) managing 10+ projects simultaneously.
  • Proven success managing projects from $1M to $15M+.
  • Experience with federal projects (DoD or civilian agencies) preferred.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10/30, ARC First Responder, USACE CQM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with EM385-1-1, AHA, and APP documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Attend critical meetings with the Contracting and GMHILL team.

  • Be readily available in person, via telephone, or online as set forth in the contract.

Job description

We are looking for Project Managers with at least 5 years of experience delivering safe and quality projects for newly awarded JOC Contract at Fort Stewart, GA.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is a Corporate position that oversees task-level construction efforts, manages on-site construction staff, and ensures contract compliance regarding the design/build and construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend critical meetings with the Contracting and GMHILL team
  • Serves as the daily point of contact on Task Orders.
  • Will be readily available in person, via telephone, or online as set forth in the contract.
  • Has full authority over contracting, construction, scheduling, resourcing, and personnel matters, and provides decisions within the limits of the contract and job order specifications.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project roles (PM, Superintendent, SSHO, or QC Manager) managing 10+ projects simultaneously.
  • Proven success managing projects from $1M to $15M+.
  • Experience withfederal projects(DoD or civilian agencies) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook; Timberline a plus.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10/30, ARC First Responder, USACE CQM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with EM385-1-1, AHA, and APP documentation.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Background inscoping, take-offs, or estimatingis preferred.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Must read and interpret complex construction drawings.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and security checks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk uneven terrain and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, and use of hands.
  • Visual acuity for reading plans and working on-site.
