Job summary

LVI Associates in Greater Northern Virginia Area seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple construction ventures, from renovations to secure facility fit-outs, across government and mission critical programs.

The role focuses on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. A proven track record in regulated environments and proficiency with Procore or MS Project are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from inception through closeout.
  • Experience in government, federal, defense, mission critical, or regulated environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of secure facility construction is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from planning and scheduling through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate and allocate project resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee day to day project activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgets, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project performance.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to support successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining strong client relationships.

Our client is a respected construction contractor delivering complex projects within government, defense, and mission critical environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects ranging from facility renovations and infrastructure upgrades to highly specialized secure facility fit outs.

  • Ability to meet client specific background screening requirements.
